Final review
My final product turned out both similar and different to what I intended, the main example is how I planned for it to be a poster but I ended up making a magazine cover and the first two pages of the magazine.
I included a blue background as it relates to the college's colour scheme so the viewer will associate the colour(s) with college. As well as that, I also included using ticks and the colour green to associate with success, luck and positivity/good. On multiple pages, I briefly mentioned about the different courses and having its own page, I mentioned about the different buildings and what is in them. On the front cover, I also mentioned that inside the magazine, it will feature how college is different from school/ sixth form.
Since the target audience includes school leavers, including how college is different from school/ sixth form will help meet the target audience. As this will hopefully persuade them to join this college as it is under the college's name this is mentioned.
- How well do you think you have met the brief? I think I have hit the brief well and met the criteria.
- How well have you met the target audiences expectations? I have met the target audience well. One example I have included is that it is implied that inside the magazine it features how college is different to school.
- Have you followed or challenged codes and conventions (and why)? Yes
- What would you do better or differently next time? What I would do better next time would be including more images and making it look more realistic.
- What went well and what didn't go so well on this project? What have you learned? What went well on this project was how easy it was to collect information on topics brought up. What didn't go well on this project was how I had to screenshot it after each lesson instead of just saving it so I couldn't edit work in a lesson that I have previously done, hence some of the font and placement of the content.
- Overall, are you happy with what you have produced? I am neither happy or upset with what I have produced as it has its strengths and weaknesses.
