I now started to edit my print advert for canon. I firstly imported the image on to Photoshop and then expanded the image so it taken up the entire screen. This is because i only want one main image for the print ad. After i then started the actual editing, i started with the bright colours and playing around with different ways to do it and what colours etc to see what i want. The main way i decided on editing in the bright colours was using select then clicking on colour selection and then created a new layer by clicking on layer, then solid layer and then colour layer. For next lesson, my aim is to continue editing the print advert.

In this lesson i edited more of the print advert. Today i continued on editing the colour by adding colour to more of the vehicles in the picture. As i wanted it to be a rough outline of the vehicles, any over spill that occurred due to the colour range viewfinder only really just picking up highlights/lowlights etc and i had to have the density slider up high, would be fixed by using the lasso tool or the eraser on that layer so it only erased the unwanted colour instead of other things. After completing this with all of the vehicles, i then started on messing around with the saturation, brightness and colour tint layers to see what goes well. I then added random grainy, messy 'highlights' to the image at random places that the viewfinder of the colour range picked up to add to the messy, grainy neon effect.
8/2/22For this lesson, i was finishing up the editing. After completing the editing for the vehicles, what i was doing was dragging the different layers of saturation, brightness, colour tint etc around so they would be off center of the different parts of the image they are meant to be on. This is to add the the grainy, messy, unique effect. This was also the lesson when i added on the Canon logo and the slogan text "for whatever journey you take". I also created a survey to collect peer feedback, the survey featured a range of questions about the finished product ranging from do you like my product to the more specifics like "Have i followed the codes and conventions of a print ad". I used both qualitative and quantitative questions so i can get a range of answers and have more content to write about.
This is my finished product.

This lesson i recorded the peer feedback that was taken on a google forms survey and uploaded it on to teams then reflected upon it. I also then started typing up my evaluation of the project accompanied with self feedback and reflection. Then in the same blog post, i typed up about my strengths and skills that i developed throughout the project such as improving my technical skills (using Photoshop etc) or researching skills(secondary research,- cross referencing, Harvard referencing etc and even primary research by creating surveys that have a different range of questions.)
